About Espace
Founded in Kolkata in 1995 by Architects Pradip Sankar Sen, Malay Kumar Ghosh, and Debatosh Sahu, ESPACE has grown into a respected multidisciplinary design and planning consultancy with expertise in architecture, urban design, town planning, landscape architecture, and interior design. Today, the practice is led by Architects Malay Kumar Ghosh and Debatosh Sahu, continuing a legacy of thoughtful, context-driven design developed over more than three decades.
Over the years, ESPACE has built a diverse portfolio spanning the residential, institutional, educational, hospitality, commercial, industrial, and public sectors. Its work ranges from housing developments and educational campuses to hospitality destinations, commercial complexes, healthcare facilities, industrial infrastructure, and integrated townships. Across projects of varying scales and complexities, the firm has consistently delivered solutions that respond sensitively to context, climate, function, and user needs, rooted in detailed space making.
